Our Story

Our Story

Parvashi Jan Kalyan Foundation was born from the personal struggles and triumphs of our founder, Mr. Rajesh Poddar. In 1994, Rajesh left his home in Bihar and migrated to Panipat, Haryana, in search of work.

But in 2001, he faced a life-threatening health crisis—a severe kidney stone. With no financial resources and no one to help, Rajesh overcame this hardship by sheer will and hard work, eventually undergoing a successful surgery. His struggle inspired a vow to never let others suffer in silence.
In 2024, after years of helping fellow migrants informally, Rajesh officially launched Parvashi Jan Kalyan Foundation, a registered NGO with a singular mission: to provide migrants and the underprivileged with the healthcare, shelter, and dignity they deserve.

Today, Parvashi Jan Kalyan Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for thousands of people, offering free medical treatments, shelters, and meals. Our foundation is built on the belief that no one should ever feel helpless in a foreign land, and that by standing together, we can create a society where every individual thrives.

What We Do

At Parvashi Jan Kalyan Foundation, we work tirelessly to uplift the lives of  underprivileged individuals. Our efforts are focused on three core areas:

Shelters for the Homeless and Elderly

Shelters for the Homeless and Elderly

We build and maintain safe shelters for those who have no home or have been abandoned by their families. Our shelters provide a place of comfort and safety, offering not only a roof over their heads but also a sense of dignity and belonging.

Healthcare Assistance

Healthcare Assistance

Migrants and poor individuals often have limited or no access to healthcare. At Parvashi Jan Kalyan Foundation, we provide free medical treatments, including surgeries for critical conditions like kidney stones, hernias, and more. We believe that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, deserves access to quality healthcare.

Feeding the Hungry

Feeding the Hungry

Hunger is a harsh reality for many people. That's why our foundation ensures that our shelters provide nutritious meals daily to over 1,000 people.
